Shirley's painting titled, "Quirky" is a finalist for the Experimental Art category in the annual "The Artist's Magazine in 2015.
Shirley's painting titled "I Feel Happy" was accepted into the 10th Biennial National Art Exhibit, Jan. 29-March 12, 2016 in the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda, FL.
Shirley received the Award of Merit for her painting titled "Fruit for Dessert?" in the Surf & Turf show at the Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs in March 2016.
Shirley's painting titled, "I Feel Happy", has recently been awarded 1st Place in the 6th Annual International Society of Acrylic Painter's Signature Member's Online Show.
Shirley has also received over 50 awards of merit, honor or excellence over the past twenty years in local and national art shows. Below is a short list of some of the awards:
